ELMHURST, IL - Local tax attorney Patrick T. Sheehan was sworn in as a member of the United States Supreme Court bar on March 5, 2007, in Washington, D.C. In the courtroom of the United States Supreme Court, Sheehan took the oath before seven of the nine Supreme Court justices, including Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justices Anthony Kennedy, David Souter, Clarence Thomas, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer and Samuel Alito. Mr. Sheehan also met with Associate Justices Ginsburg, Alito and Stephen Breyer following the swearing-in ceremony.
“It was an incredible experience to be sworn in as a member of the United States Supreme Court bar in front of the Justices. The honor and responsibility bestowed upon me shall not be taken lightly. To stand before the United States Supreme Court is a great honor and will allow me to continue my efforts on behalf of taxpayers nationwide,” Mr. Sheehan stated.

Mr. Sheehan graduated from Loyola University with a Juris Doctor degree in 1987 and was admitted to the Illinois bar on November 5, 1987. Mr. Sheehan is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, the United States Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court. |
